School of Art graduates receive ArtStart grants

Seven School of Art Graduates have been successful in gaining Australia Council for the Arts ArtStart grants. ArtStart grants aim to provide financial assistance (up to $10000) to recent creative arts graduates who are committed to establishing a career as a professional artist. ArtStart is a unique opportunity for emerging artists to set themselves up in a sustainable way by developing and resourcing career and business plans.
Grants across all Australia Council funded art form areas are provided to support services, resources, skills development, and equipment that help graduate artists to build an income-generating career in the arts practice they have studied.
